Mahama nominates DCEs for Eastern Region

President John Mahama has nominated 33 individuals.

They will serve as District Chief Executives (DCEs) for the Eastern Region.

This follows Article 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution.

It also aligns with the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

The nominations need approval from the District Assemblies.

The nominees will undergo vetting soon.

Approval by their respective District Assemblies is expected in the coming weeks.
