Mahama nominates Ebi Bright, Ludwig Totimeh others as MCEs

Ebi Bright has been nominated as the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive. She is also the 2024 National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Tema Central.

Her nomination has sparked protests from some local residents. Ludwig Totimeh has been appointed as the Municipal Chief Executive for Tema West.

These nominations follow Article 243 of the 1992 Constitution and the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936). The Local Governance (Amendment) Act, 2017 also applies.

The nominations need approval from their respective Assemblies. More appointed MCEs will be listed below.
