Mahama nominates seven new Justices for Supreme Court

President John Dramani Mahama has nominated seven Justices of the Court of Appeal. They are being considered for appointment to the Supreme Court of Ghana.

These nominations follow Article 144 (2) of the 1992 Constitution. Parliament must approve the nominees before they can take office.

The nominees are:
1. Justice Sir Dennis Dominic Adjei
2. Justice Gbiel Simon Suurbaareh
3. Justice Senyo Dzamefe
4. Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo
5. Justice Philip Bright Mensah
6. Justice Janapare Bartels-Kodwo
7. Justice Hafisata Amaleboba
