Mahama pays tribute to late Pope Francis

President John Dramani Mahama has paid tribute to Pope Francis. He called him “a good man, personable and humane, with a good soul.”

The President shared these thoughts in the condolence book for the late Pontiff. Pope Francis passed away recently.

Mahama expressed his hope that God guides the Conclave. He believes Cardinal A.T. would make a worthy successor.

In an earlier post, Mahama mourned the Pope’s death. He extended condolences on behalf of his family and Ghana.

“The world woke up to the sad news of Pope Francis’ passing,” he said. He offered heartfelt condolences to the Roman Catholic Church and its followers.

Mahama recalled meeting the late Pontiff during a visit to the Vatican. He described it as an honor and an inspiring moment.

“His legacy of compassion, humility, and commitment to social justice will inspire generations,” he noted. The President emphasized that Pope Francis advocated for the poor and marginalized.
