Mahama’s Inauguration set for January 7: Event, traffic, and security details

The Black Star Square in Accra will host the inauguration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The event will feature strict security measures and a well-structured layout, including zones for Parliament, the public, and the media.

Road closures and diversions will affect key routes, such as 28th February Road and Castle Road, while alternative routes like Oxford Street and Salem Avenue are recommended.

Designated car parks include the Independence Arch and State House Forecourt.
