The Kwadaso Municipal Assembly has approved Eric Assibey as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). His nomination came from President John Dramani Mahama. All 22 assembly members present voted in favor, giving him 100% approval.
In his acceptance speech, Eric Assibey expressed deep gratitude. He called for teamwork to develop Kwadaso. "I am very happy to see everyone gathered here today," he said.
He noted that Kwadaso has made significant progress and should not regress. Assibey acknowledged the contributions of many people to this success.
He highlighted the unity displayed at the event, mentioning former MPs and traditional leaders. This unity is essential for Kwadaso's growth.
Dr. Kingsley Nyarko, the Member of Parliament for Kwadaso, emphasized the importance of unity. He stated that political differences should not hinder development efforts. "Politics is a key part of our lives," he remarked.
Nyarko encouraged using politics to foster community development. He recognized that the NDC is currently in power and wished them well. "We need unity to bring the development that Kwadaso needs," he concluded.
