Mahama’s official X account compromised – CSA

The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has confirmed that President John Dramani Mahama’s official X account has been compromised.

According to the CSA, unauthorized access was detected on March 17 when the account began promoting suspicious cryptocurrency content linked to Solanafrica, a fraudulent scheme falsely claiming ties to the Solana blockchain.

The breach has sparked concerns about the security of high-profile political accounts.

However, the CSA has assured the public that it is working closely with X and relevant stakeholders to resolve the issue and prevent future incidents.
