Mahama set to resume Thank You Tour in Upper West Region on May 15

President John Dramani Mahama will continue his Thank You Tour on Thursday, May 15, 2025. He will visit the Upper West Region.

This tour aims to thank traditional leaders and residents for their support in the 2024 elections.

A major public gathering will take place at Jubilee Park in Wa. Mr. Mahama will address party supporters, chiefs, opinion leaders, and local residents.

The Upper West Region is a stronghold for the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The region delivered significant victories in both presidential and parliamentary elections.

Mr. Mahama has already visited several regions since the elections. The Upper West visit aims to strengthen ties with grassroots supporters before the 2028 elections.

Party officials say he will reaffirm his commitment to inclusive governance and development in the north. He will also discuss key campaign promises.
