President John Mahama has announced plans to extend the Kasoa-Winneba dual carriageway to Cape Coast.
The $180 million project, initially launched to ease congestion and enhance trade, is now set for expansion under the government’s "Big Push" initiative.
Speaking in Cape Coast during his thank-you tour, Mahama outlined a phased approach: phase two will connect Winneba to Mankessim, while phase three extends from Mankessim to Cape Coast.
He also highlighted other key road projects, including the Yamoransa-Twifo Praso and Cape Coast-Twifo Praso roads.
Additionally, Mahama revealed plans to modernize the Mankessim market as part of the NDC’s market development agenda.
