Mahama to launch Adwumawura Programme today

President John Dramani Mahama will launch the Adwumawura programme today. This event takes place in the Ashanti Region on Monday, April 28, 2025.

The Adwumawura programme is a key government promise. It aims to create at least 10,000 businesses each year. The focus is on empowering the youth.

This initiative fulfills the 120-day social contract. It also aims to reduce the country's unemployment rate.

In addition, President Mahama will launch two other programs this week. These are the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (Mahama Cares) and the National Apprenticeship Programme.
