President John Mahama has announced that he will appoint the last four deputy ministers in the coming days, completing his ministerial team as promised.
Speaking at a swearing-in ceremony for newly approved ministers at Jubilee House, he confirmed that 13 deputy ministers had already been nominated earlier this week in consultation with sector ministers.
These nominations are awaiting parliamentary approval, and Mahama urged lawmakers to fast-track the vetting process to allow them to begin work.
He emphasized his commitment to a **lean but effective** government, stating that efficiency is driven by **strategy, creativity, and hard work**, not just numbers.
With the final appointments, his government will have **60 ministers**, aligning with his pledge to keep the administration compact yet functional.
