President John Dramani Mahama has announced plans to establish a National Education Reform Committee to conduct a comprehensive review of Ghana’s entire educational system.

The review will cover all levels of education, from basic to tertiary, with the goal of strengthening the sector and addressing its evolving needs.

Speaking at the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana in Winneba on January 9, Mahama highlighted the significance of reforms in improving the quality and accessibility of education in the country.

“We will set up a planning committee to start working on the National Education Review Conference, which will assess our system from kindergarten to tertiary education, including technical and vocational training,” he stated.

The move aims to identify key challenges and propose solutions to enhance educational outcomes across Ghana.
