Mahama to set up inter-ministerial committee to drive Nat’l Economic Dialogue implementation

President John Dramani Mahama has announced a new committee. This inter-ministerial implementation committee will coordinate actions from the National Economic Dialogue report.

He spoke at a ceremony during the report's presentation. President Mahama stressed the government's commitment to turning dialogue outcomes into real policies.

"In the coming days, we will issue an executive directive," he said. This directive will establish the committee to oversee actions from the dialogue report.

The committee aims to publish its final bulletin by August 2025. This bulletin will update the public on progress and steps taken regarding recommendations.

The committee will include civil society and private sector observers. The National Economic Dialogue serves as a key platform for stakeholders in Ghana. It allows them to share ideas and propose solutions for economic recovery and growth.
