President John Mahama has urged Ghanaian youth to embrace digital innovation. He believes education and discipline are essential for success today.
He emphasized that young people must gain relevant skills. This is crucial to remain competitive locally and internationally.
Speaking at the 2025 National Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations, he highlighted the youth's role in shaping Ghana’s future. The event took place at Black Star Square on March 31st.
He encouraged young people to learn coding, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and entrepreneurship. These skills will help them navigate economic challenges and seize new opportunities.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. It is a significant event for Muslims, bringing them together for prayer and reflection.
President Mahama stressed balancing faith with education and hard work. He said this balance is vital for building a brighter future.
“To our young people, I say Ghana’s future is in your hands,” he stated. He noted that in this digital age, youth must equip themselves with necessary skills and knowledge.
“It is important to be a faithful Muslim, but it is equally important to be an educated Muslim,” he added.
He assured that his leadership would create an environment fostering opportunities for young people. He encouraged Muslim youth to take full advantage of these prospects.
