Maj. Gen. Gyane pulled out of KAIPTC

Major General Richard Addo Gyane officially left the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Accra yesterday. His departure marks the end of his tenure as Commandant.

In 2022, he made history by becoming the first non-infantry army officer to hold this position.

During his farewell address, Maj. Gen. Gyane emphasized the importance of a smooth leadership transition. He urged the new leadership to be flexible while maintaining core values.
