Man lynched to death over alleged mobile phone theft in Agbozume

A young man named Prosper Adedea, also known as Tagoe, was killed. He was in his late 20s and lived in Agbozume-Adawukorfe.

He was allegedly lynched after being accused of stealing a mobile phone. The incident happened on Sunday night. His body was found on Monday, June 2, under a mango tree.

The Agbozume Police Command is seeking help from the public. They want credible information to catch those responsible for this crime.

The deceased's body is at Hossana Mortuary in Agbozume. It will be preserved and undergo an autopsy.

Mr. Godson Ahiamadzi, the local Assembly Member, spoke to the GNA. He confirmed that one suspect has been arrested and is helping with the investigation.
