Manasseh Awuni retracts and apologises for error in ‘The President Ghana Never Got’ book

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has issued a retraction and apology for an error in his book The President Ghana Never Got, which mistakenly attributed a $28 million debt to businessman Ibrahim Mahama.

Awuni clarified that the debt was owed by Mahama's company, Engineers and Planners, not by Mahama personally.

Acknowledging the mistake as a "genuine oversight," Awuni assured readers that the error would be corrected in the online version and future reprints.

This correction follows legal action from Mahama's team, prompting Awuni to swiftly address the issue.
