It aims to address the rising mental health burden in the country.
The Mental Health Authority (MHA) leads this effort with the Ministry of Health.
Various civil society organizations are also involved in this initiative.
This year’s theme is “Mental Well-being: My Voice Matters.”
It emphasizes the need for inclusive mental health services.
The goal is to remove barriers to care, especially in rural areas.
At the launch in Accra, Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang spoke through Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
