Aggrieved Menzgold customers remain determined to recover their locked-up investments, dismissing claims that their efforts are futile.
Fred Forson, the group’s convener, stressed that their persistence led to Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) being prosecuted.
He noted that at the last High Court hearing on December 17, a conviction was nearly secured, and they are set to return to court on February 4.
Forson revealed that over 11,000 customers are affected, with an estimated GHC 200 million required for payments.
The group has petitioned Parliament and is urging President Mahama to address their plight in his first budget.
Despite previous setbacks, they remain hopeful that the new administration will intervene to resolve the crisis.
