Midnight Raid: Armed men seize Lord Commey’s vehicles in Dansoman

A group of men in civilian and military attire raided the Dansoman residence of former Jubilee House Director of Operations, Lord Oblitey Commey, on the night of January 31, 2025.

The attackers claimed they had orders to tow six vehicles, including Commey’s Range Rover and his wife’s Maserati, to Blue Gate, a National Security facility.

Sources say Commey’s private security and household members were assaulted before yielding to the demands.

Although Commey was absent during the attack, he arrived later and negotiated for the vehicles to be driven away instead of being towed.

Police intervention failed to deter the men.

It remains unclear if the operation was officially sanctioned, but similar incidents have been reported since the NDC’s recent electoral victory.
