The Electoral Commission (EC) has ordered the resumption of the collation process for the Ablekuma North constituency at the Greater Accra Regional Collation Centre.

This follows rising tensions and protests by NDC supporters, who allege electoral manipulation.

A confrontation between NDC and NPP candidates disrupted the process after 219 out of 281 polling stations had been collated.

The process was previously suspended twice. EC Chair Jean Mensa intervened to restart collation, prompting officials to return to work.

Military and police personnel have been deployed to maintain order, as NDC supporters demand immediate results.
