Mining policy under review to meet current dynamics  - Lands Minister

The country’s mining policy is under review, according to Minister Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah.

He stated that the 2014 policy needs updates to meet current mining sector demands.

Mr. Buah made these comments during his visit to the Minerals Commission.

The government aims to improve the mining sector by tackling illegal mining.

They also want to address issues related to issuing mining licenses.

This was Mr. Buah's first visit to an agency under his Ministry.

The visit aimed to help him understand the Commission's operations better.
