Ministry of Education releases GH₵25M to WAEC

The Ministry of Education has provided an additional GH₵25 million to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to support its operations and ensure the timely release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.

Kwasi Kwarteng, the Ministry’s spokesperson, confirmed the funding in a statement on December 23.

This financial support aims to ease the challenges faced by WAEC and expedite the marking process, offering relief to students, parents, and educational institutions awaiting the results.
