Minority calls for Sammy Gyamfi’s dismissal  … for allegedly gifting dollars to Nana Agradaa

The Minority Caucus in Parliament has made a strong demand. They want the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi, suspended or dismissed. This follows a viral video showing him giving bundles of US dollars to Patricia Oduro, also known as Nana Agradaa.

The Minority also urged President John Mahama to apologize to Ghanaians. They believe his actions have caused public insult and called for a full investigation into the dollar bundles shown in the video.

During a media briefing in Accra, Dr. Mahama Tiah Abdul-Kabiru spoke on behalf of the Minority. He described the display of financial recklessness as a betrayal of public trust. He said it is “a slap in the face” of many Ghanaians facing high inflation and living costs.

Dr. Abdul-Kabiru expressed that this situation reflects the arrogance and insensitivity of the NDC government under President Mahama.
