Minority issues one-week ultimatum to GHOne TV over fake doctor Ann Sansa Daly

The minority in parliament has given GHOne TV a one-week ultimatum. This concerns Dr. Anne Sansa Daly's medical show, ‘Health and Life with Dr. Daly’.

Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, the Ranking Member of the Health Committee, signed a letter to GHOne TV. The letter questioned how they vetted Dr. Daly before her show aired. They also requested documents verifying her qualifications as a health practitioner.

The minority emphasized that media credibility is crucial for public health knowledge. They stated that individuals on such platforms must meet legal and professional standards.

This comes after President John Mahama revoked Dr. Daly’s appointment to the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). Reports suggest this decision followed allegations that her medical credentials are fake.

On May 23, 2025, Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh confirmed the revocation in a letter signed by Secretary Callistus Mahama. Meanwhile, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine cannot find any record of Anne Sansa Daly.

A concerned pharmacist, Reginald Sekyi-Brown, contacted Johns Hopkins on May 25, 2025. In their response, the school stated they could not locate any record under her name.

Media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has called for Dr. Daly's arrest and prosecution. He urged the Medical and Dental Council to act decisively against her misrepresentation.

Afrifa-Mensah argued that even without treating patients, pretending to be a doctor is a crime. He believes this issue should not be ignored and demands accountability from authorities.

He plans to discuss this matter further on his Saturday show, promising shocking revelations about Dr. Daly.
