The Minority in Parliament has warned it may halt cooperation with the government if President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC fail to address rising violence allegedly incited by their supporters.
Citing the recent attack on the Electoral Commission's Greater Accra office during attempts to re-collate results for Ablekuma North, Deputy Minority Whip Jerry Ahmed Shaid accused the NDC of orchestrating unrest to overturn the constituency's election results.
Shaid criticized senior NDC members for fostering chaos and urged President Mahama to act decisively.
The Minority also called on the IGP to restore order and prosecute perpetrators, emphasizing the need to protect Ghana's democratic integrity from further harm.
