Missing ECG Containers: Ntim Fordjour demands accountability and coherent answers

Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Defence and Interior Committee, is demanding accountability for missing ECG containers.

On April 2, 2025, he posted on X about the issue. He questioned the whereabouts of the containers. He wondered if the 706 containers evacuated by National Security are part of the missing 1,340.

Fordjour expressed shock that this evacuation was not made public. He believes the explanations provided do not make sense. Therefore, he urged the government to clarify the situation regarding the missing containers.

In his tweet, he asked several questions:

1. Where are the missing ECG containers worth over $700 million?
2. Could these 706 containers evacuated by National Security be part of the missing 1,340?
3. Have they accounted for equipment and logistics in those 706 containers?
4. Why was there no mention of this evacuation in briefings from the Energy Minister?

He concluded by stating that coherent answers are needed and all containers must be accounted for.
