More good news coming in August with the mid-year budget – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has shared exciting news. More good updates will come in the Finance Minister’s mid-year budget.

In August, Finance Minister Ato Forson will present the 2025 budget. Mahama spoke during a gathering at Wa Jubilee Park on May 15. This event was part of his thank-you tour in the Upper West Region.

He mentioned that early signs of economic recovery are visible. Since taking office, his administration has focused on stabilizing the economy. In March, they presented a budget to cut spending and prioritize key programs.

Mahama expressed happiness about their progress. He noted improvements in the local currency and lower prices for goods and services. He praised Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson and Bank of Ghana Governor Dr. Johnson Asiama for their efforts.

Mahama is confident that more good news will come in August. He commended both leaders for their teamwork in this economic turnaround.

He believes Ghanaians will receive even better news when the mid-year budget is presented.
