The Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana (MOWAG) has announced its decision to resume a strike action starting Thursday, November 28, 2024, due to unresolved issues with their working conditions.

Despite previous efforts to negotiate a resolution, MOWAG says no practical solutions have been provided.

The association has directed its members in both public and private facilities to halt operations until their concerns are adequately addressed.

MOWAG emphasized that the strike is necessary to protect the welfare of its members and urged authorities to engage in meaningful dialogue to prevent disruptions to mortuary services across the country.
