Mother of former minority leader Haruna Iddrisu, Hajia Mariama, passes away

Hajia Mariama, the mother of former Minority Leader and Tamale South MP Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, has passed away after a prolonged illness at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The news was shared by Dr. Seidu Fiter, a close family friend, who expressed his condolences on Facebook.

The family confirmed her death and announced that Hajia Mariama’s body would be transported to Tamale for burial.

In a heartfelt message, the family mourned her loss, noting her legacy of love and devotion. The burial is set for today, with the family praying for her soul to rest in peace.
