Motorway Attack: Driver recounts harrowing experience of stone thrown at car

A driver recently shared a frightening experience on the Tema Motorway. While driving at night, a stone was thrown from the bushes. It smashed his windscreen.

Blogger Sikaofficial highlighted this incident, raising concerns among nighttime motorists. Many drivers are now worried about safety on this stretch of road.

Another person, Abu Sniche, recounted a similar event. He said it happened to him on December 7, 2024. He was coming from Shiashie and entering the N1 road when it occurred.

“Luckily, I could still see and managed to speed off,” he explained. However, he noted that things could have been much worse.

One user warned that such incidents might be setups for robbery. “It’s a trap,” they wrote. “If you stop to check, your car and belongings will be taken.”

These alarming accounts have led to calls for better security on major roads. Motorists are increasingly wary of potential attacks at night.
