Movement TV journalist arrested after reporting to Special Prosecutor’s office

A report from Wontumionline states that journalist Gordon Asare Bediako has been arrested. He works for Movement TV/Wontumi Radio.

His colleague, Dasebre Agyei Dwamena, shared this news. Officials from the Special Prosecutor’s office searched for Bediako at Movement TV.

When they couldn't find him, they called him. They asked him to come to their office the next day.

Bediako had an exam scheduled for tomorrow. So, he decided to go today instead. Upon his arrival, he was detained.

The reasons for his detention are unclear. It is also unknown if any charges have been filed against him.
