My ex-girlfriend caused my recent arrest over “sextortion” claims – Okatakyie Afrifa

Broadcast journalist Okatakyie Afrifa has shared his recent experience. He was picked up by the Cyber Crime Unit for "sextortion."

Afrifa claims he was framed by his ex-girlfriend, Anne Sansa Daly. She alleged that he had her nudes and threatened to release them online.

He believes she edited their conversations to support her claims before reporting him. Afrifa suspects that his arrest is political, not just personal.

"I was told that Andeli reported me," he said. "She claimed I have her nudes and am blackmailing her."

He asked for evidence but was taken home instead. The authorities said they would investigate him further.

Afrifa dated Daly six years ago and described their relationship as toxic. He mentioned having information about a dossier on her, advising caution.

"She edited our messages to make it seem like I had her nude videos," he added.
