My grandchildren will drink polluted water if we don’t stop to galamsey – Protestor

An elderly protestor, Naa Densua, passionately joined the #SayNoToGalamsey protest to express her concern about illegal mining, which she believes is destroying the environment for future generations.

Holding a bottle of polluted water from the Pra River, she questioned, "Who will drink?"

She explained that her motivation was for her grandchildren, who might suffer from the environmental degradation caused by 'galamsey.'

Naa Densua criticized the government's response, insisting that the fight must continue until there is real action to stop illegal mining and restore clean water sources.
