My name grips Dame like an epileptic seizure – Thaddeus Sory fires

Thaddeus Sory, a private lawyer, has criticized Godfred Yeboah Dame again. Dame is the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice. He claimed Sory is obsessed with him.

Dame said Sory has been publicly attacking his work. He finds Sory's obsession bewildering and believes he needs healing.

In response, Dame dismissed Sory’s claims as false propaganda from NDC-affiliated lawyers. He stated that two government lawyers are trying to remove the Chief Justice.

Dame added that he would ignore Sory's comments but expected more abuse from him.

Sory replied, saying his name grips Dame like an epileptic seizure. He questioned how he could be obsessed with someone he taught in court.

Sory expressed disbelief that Dame wrote his response. He pointed out contradictions in Dame's statements about clients and political affiliations.

He recalled how last October, Dame objected to him representing the Speaker of Parliament. Later, Dame demanded sanctions for not showing up after his own objection.

Sory noted that every time he mentions Dame, it’s a reaction to Dame’s media comments about him.

He emphasized that actions have equal reactions and questioned who is truly obsessed with whom.

Sory also criticized Dame for misunderstanding basic legal principles and making flawed arguments in court cases.

He accused Dame of violating professional ethics by discussing cases publicly on social media and radio.

Sory concluded by stating that reality will soon catch up with Dame and apologized for having to engage in this back-and-forth.
