NADMO to brief public on preparedness ahead of rainy season 

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) will soon update the public.

They will discuss preparations for the rainy season. This aims to reduce environmental disasters.

NADMO is ready to ensure safety for lives and properties.

A source from the Communication Directorate spoke with the Ghana News Agency. They mentioned inspections of facilities damaged by Tuesday’s rainstorm in Accra.

The storm caused damage at A&C Mall. It affected the solar panel over a carport, impacting several vehicles. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries.

NADMO also visited areas where trees fell on vehicles and buildings. One location was near Kotobabi Police Station. A moving car was hit by a falling tree, injuring the driver.
