The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has strongly condemned the alleged abduction of Sylvia Patience Baah, Emirates Airlines Airport Manager, by operatives from the National Security Secretariat and the National Investigations Bureau (NIB).
According to the NDC, Baah was abducted on November 21, 2024, blindfolded, handcuffed, and detained for nearly 24 hours after being forcibly taken from her home.
The party described the incident as an abuse of power and linked it to a professional dispute involving Baah and some individuals within the current administration.
The NDC has called for an urgent, impartial investigation and called on Ghanaians to vote for change in the upcoming election to restore social justice and the rule of law.
The Ministry of National Security has denied the claims.
