NDC happy with CJ's suspension - Tanko-Computer

Dr. Rashid Tanko-Computer is the Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the NDC. He expressed the party's happiness over President John Mahama's decision to suspend the Chief Justice.

He stated, "We are very much happy, so elated with the decision." This comment came shortly after the suspension was announced.

The NDC believes this action will help restore the judiciary's glory.

President Mahama suspended Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo on April 22.

This suspension follows a committee being established to investigate petitions against her.

The announcement from the Presidency confirmed that this action complies with constitutional provisions. It also followed consultations with the Council of State.
