NDC mourn with Haruna Iddrisu over mother’s passing

Prominent figures in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have expressed condolences to Tamale South MP, Haruna Iddrisu, following the death of his mother, Hajia Mariama Amidu.

Leading members, including Tamale North MP Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini, former NDC National Chairman Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, and Tamale Central MP Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, visited the family to offer support.

Hajia Mariama passed away after a brief illness at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. She was laid to rest in Tamale in line with Islamic customs.

The family has planned a 4-Day Adua (prayer gathering) on Thursday, December 19, 2024, to honour her memory.

Party members and well-wishers are invited to join in paying tribute to her life and legacy.
