The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) of hurriedly finalizing a two-year contract with businessmen allegedly linked to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the current administration nears its exit.
According to the NDC, the meeting, held at the DVLA CEO’s office on December 30, 2024, is aimed at benefiting select individuals before power transitions.
An NDC activist revealed on social media that the contracts are allegedly being backdated.
The NDC has vowed to terminate any such agreements once it assumes office on January 7, 2025, labeling the contracts as acts of bad faith.
Similar allegations have also surfaced against ADB Bank, reportedly signing deals during the Christmas period.
