The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced a series of activities to commemorate the swearing-in of President-elect John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The celebrations, beginning Saturday, January 4, will include constituency-wide victory celebrations, a victory walk in Accra, and a Ghana Victory Concert at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium forecourt.

Key events include the Presidential Inauguration at Independence Square, national Muslim prayers at the National Mosque, and a Thanksgiving Service on January 12.

In a statement, NDC General Secretary Fifi Kwetey commended the party’s executives and supporters for their dedication, which led to Mahama’s decisive victory of 56.55% over NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who secured 41.61%.

The party urged members to ensure the success of the planned celebrations.
