NDC urges supporters to use laid down procedures to address party concerns - Ghanaian Times

Mr. George Yaw, the branch executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Attakrom, has a message for party supporters. He urged them to follow proper procedures for addressing grievances.

His appeal came after some angry youth vandalized the party’s constituency office in Wamfie. This incident caused significant damage to party property.

The supporters destroyed office supplies and documents. They also burned billboards and posters of the local Member of Parliament, Madam Rachael Owusuaa. They accused her of influencing the choice of the President's nominee.

Their actions were a protest against Mr. King Osei Owusu, the nominee for Dormaa East District Chief Executive (DCE). The Ghana News Agency reported that this was their way of expressing dissatisfaction with his nomination.
