The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is taking legal steps to challenge the election victory of Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri.
Dr. Rashid Tanko Computer, Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the NDC, insists the declaration was flawed, citing discrepancies in the result sheets.
According to him, the MP’s win was based on questionable documents, including scanned and fake pink sheets.
The party has filed an election petition at the High Court in Koforidua, where the case is now being handled.
A written notice has been served to Annoh-Dompreh’s legal team, as the NDC seeks to overturn the results through legal means.
Dr. Tanko remains resolute that the party will fight to restore electoral integrity.
