The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged to review all transactions involving state lands sold to private developers, promising accountability after December 7, 2025.
Speaking in Kumasi on December 15, 2024, NDC National Organizer Joseph Yamin expressed alarm over reports of hasty land sales, vowing to resist improper allocations. He cautioned private developers against starting major projects on such lands, warning that their investments could face risks under a new government.
Yamin hinted at broader investigations into the legitimacy and fairness of these transactions, emphasizing that the review would focus on protecting state resources, not targeting individuals. “Our aim is to ensure accountability and safeguard the national interest,” he assured.
The NDC remains committed to transparency and fairness in managing state assets.
