Eugene Odoi Addo is the Sunyani Area Manager of NEDCo. He stated that the company is addressing power outages in its area.
These outages are due to technical challenges, not load shedding or ‘dumsor’. Mr. Addo spoke with the media in Sunyani about this issue.
He mentioned that engineers from Tamale have come to help. They aim to restore full power supply soon. He urged the public to remain calm during this time.
Mr. Addo expressed concern over the outages, stating they affect revenue. He assured everyone that the problem would be resolved quickly.
Residents and business owners in Sunyani are worried about these outages. They find the situation frustrating and disruptive to their activities.
Business owners, including barbers and hairdressers, called on NEDCo for solutions. Madam Akosuah Pokuah, a hairdresser, said power failures hurt their businesses significantly.
