The National Liberation Congress (NLC) and the Ghana Alternative Party (GAP) have withdrawn from the December 7 elections.

The decision, announced on September 11, was due to delays in finalizing NLC’s certification with the Electoral Commission and the impracticality of registering a new alliance logo.

Feedback from voters suggested that supporting an independent candidate might be futile amid strong competition between the NDC and NPP, and concerns about the economic situation led many to favor the major parties.

Despite withdrawing, the alliance remains dedicated to their vision and will support any party that aligns with their goals.
