Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe is the Acting Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA). He assured the public that new fuel station licenses will be issued fairly.
His comments address growing calls for transparency in Ghana's licensing process. Mr. Tamakloe spoke on Face to Face with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Channel One TV on May 13. He emphasized that political affiliation or social status will not affect licensing.
“I’m a fair-minded person,” he stated. He mentioned that everyone, regardless of location, will be treated equally. This includes places like Fojoku, Tokorme, and Krachi.
Mr. Tamakloe expressed the NPA’s commitment to equal access in the fuel sector. He promised impartial regulation for all applicants seeking licenses.
