Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organiser of the NPP, has responded to criticism. He dismissed claims that the party's "Thank You" tour is chaotic. He called these assertions completely unfounded.
The controversy arose after remarks by former presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Additionally, Kennedy Agyapong withdrew from the tour after a KNUST student was stabbed during an event.
In an interview with Channel One Newsroom on May 3, Mustapha rejected the chaos claims. He stated, “Not at all... It cannot be chaotic.” He insisted that the tour is not disordered.
Mustapha emphasized that the tour follows NPP traditions. He noted that thank you tours have always been structured and orderly. “This is not new,” he said.
