NPP appointees spent $50K on women, why attack him? Owusu Bempah defends Sammy Gyamfi

Ernest Kofi Owusu Bempah, Deputy National Communications Director of the NPP, defends Sammy Gyamfi.

Gyamfi faced public criticism for allegedly giving evangelist Agradaa $10,000.

During an interview on NET2 TV, Owusu Bempah called the outrage misplaced and hypocritical.

He said, “We know people in the NPP who spray $50,000 on ladies.”

Bempah argued that critics have no moral right to judge Gyamfi.

He challenged anyone with evidence of wrongdoing to come forward.

“If anyone has proof he stole money, bring it to the Special Prosecutor,” he said.

Owusu Bempah questioned how $10,000 could be a problem for Gyamfi.

He emphasized that concerns should arise only if official funds were involved.

“For example, if €50,000 was missing from the Gold Board account…” he explained.

Critics have raised questions about Gyamfi’s gift during tough economic times.

However, Bempah believes there is nothing wrong with what Gyamfi did.
