NPP condemns NIB over Abronye’s summons

NPP National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), has slammed the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) for summoning Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe (Abronye) over his inquiry into GH₵550 million allocated for newly recruited personnel under the Mahama administration.

Nana B questioned why the NIB ignored corruption allegations against former President Akufo-Addo but is now targeting Abronye for raising financial concerns.

He alleged that the summons is politically motivated and vowed that the NPP would resist intimidation.

“The NPP will stand by Chairman Abronye, and our General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, will accompany him to the NIB,” he stated.

The party insists it will not tolerate selective investigations under the current administration.
